NHS Treatment at Linden Dental Surgery

Linden Dental Surgery is able to provide NHS dentistry for a limited number of patients.

Please ask at reception if we are currently taking on any new NHS patients.

Under the NHS we can provide clinically necessary examinations, x-rays, scaling, fillings, crowns and dentures, but not cosmetic treatments or hygienist work.

The time interval between your dental examinations will be decided by your dentist according to clinical need, and therefore you may be required to attend at intervals between 3 and 24 months.

From April the fees for NHS dental treatment are:

Band 1:
Covers examination, diagnosis and planning, x-rays and any necessary scaling

Band 2:
Covers band 1 items plus other treatments including fillings, root canal treatment and extractions

Band 3:
Covers band 1 and 2 plus more complex treatments such as crowns, bridges and dentures.
